Idyllic Spanish farmhouse with Tipi and large private pool set amongst olive groves with stunning mountain views, 10 mins from Cambrils & Salou beach resorts.

A charming Spanish farmhouse full of history and rustic charm, surrounded by beautiful countryside with stunning mountain views. This delightful farm is south facing and set on a 2 acre plot of land with it's own orange, cherry, pomegranate and olive trees and large swimming pool.

Goats, sheep, ducks and chickens live outside the main garden and fresh free range chicken & duck eggs are available for breakfast everyday.

The famous Pianist and classical music composer, Joan Guinjoan, was born in this house in 1931 and spent the first 21 years of his life here with his farming family. Built by his grandfather, the house still contains much of the original furniture and features giving a real sense of history and nostalgia to this delightful farm.

The house sleeps 12 and there is also a large tipi in the garden which can comfortably sleep 2/3 people if needed (please inquire) offering a novel and authentic camping experience. Or it can simply be enjoyed as a unique chill out space for relaxed candlelit evenings with friends and family.

There is an outside games area with tennis rackets and garden toys for the children. Mountain bikes can be hired to explore the local countryside and villages, and there are numerous outdoor activities nearby like cat fishing on the river Ebro, horse riding, golf, quad biking and jeep safari that can easily be arranged. Park Sama, a botanical garden and Chateau complete with exotic birds and aquatic life is just down road and must be explored! It is an ideal location for birdwatchers, artists and ramblers looking to explore the local countryside or for holiday makers simply wishing to relax and unwind in this peaceful setting.

Downstairs the house comprises of a large lounge/dining room area, kitchen, laundry room, spacious hallway and a toilet and shower room. Upstairs is a large hallway, a bathroom with a bath & shower, 3 airy double bedrooms and a large dorm style bedroom that sleeps 5/6. There is an ouside kitchen with a built in BBQ leading off the sun terrace.

The house is a 5 minute walk into the historic local town of Riudoms (the birth place of world famous architect Gaudi) where you will find an array of local shops, cafes, bars and restaurants serving everything from traditional Catalan/Spanish dishes, delicious Tapas as well as home made pizzas, pastas and snacks. There is a local market every Thursday morning in the main square in front of the beautiful and impressive L'Església de Sant Jaume (church of St. James). The town also has a great Roman history and archaeological sites where remains of Roman houses can be viewed. The house is situated just 5 minutes drive from the cosmopolitan town of Reus with it's many shops, restaurants, plazas and cafes. The airport is just a 15 minute drive away. The old Roman city of Tarragona (once the capital of the Roman empire outside of Rome) is just a 10 minute drive away and a must see for historical culture lovers. The house is also just a 10 minute drive away from Salou - a popular and lively beach resort with beautiful golden beaches, boasting many attractions including Portaventura (the 2nd largest theme park in Europe), Aquapolis water park and an endless choice of bars, nightclubs and restaurants. It is also just a 10 minute drive from Cambrils, a quieter, typically Spanish seaside town with fabulous stretches of sandy beaches, bars, shops, plazas and markets and a picturesque harbor famous for it's fresh seafood restaurants.

Barcelona is only 1hrs drive away and Valencia is around 3 hrs in the other direction.

This peaceful farm is perfect for nature lovers wishing to experience true Spanish life in the country but close enough to civilisation if you like a bit of city culture too, offering the best of both worlds for holiday makers looking to get the most from their holiday.
