A really great place to enjoy your holiday.
Canyelles Petites is one of the best beaches in the area with a lovely sandy beach, a beautiful coastal walk that goes from Canyelles to the next beach at Almadrava or head in the other direction towards the town of Roses (approx 30 minutes)with it's many shops bars and restuarants.
The apartment is in a small quiet block and is situated on the second floor. It has 4 bedrooms to sleep up to 6 people.
Two bedrooms (one double and one single) lead directly onto the front terrace which overlooks the sea and mountains surrounding the cove.
The other two bedrooms are towards the rear of the property and one has two single beds with it's own shower room and the other has a double bed.
The kitchen is new and was only fitted in 2012. It is open planned with the lounge and dining area and all have great sea views.
The front terrace has enough space to dine outside in one area and sunbathe in the other. There is another terrace at the rear of the property which can give some nice shade during the heat of the day.
There is a television with English freeview.
2 Parking spaces available, one in a garage and one outdoor space on the property.
All bedding and towels for both the apartment and the beach are provided, saving you valuable space whilst traveling.
A welcome pack is provided for your arrival including some nice spanish Cava for you to enjoy and celebrate the start of a relaxing holiday.
A car is not necessary during the summer months as you can walk to buy fresh bread and croissants from the local bakery for breakfast and shop in the small local supermarket for all your supplies. There are 4-5 restaurants to choose from on the beachfront at Canyelles, a few more at Almadrava and many in the town of Roses which is a lovely coastal walk away. A bus service is also available during summer months. Boat trips also go from Roses to explore the coast line and day trips to Cadaques.
Out of season this is a fantastic spot for walkers, ask for more details.
If you wanted to explore the surrounding area with a car then it is definately worthwhile. Cadaques, a lovely fishing village and previous home to Salvador Dali is only 50 minutes drive away, Figueres with the Dali museum only 30 minutes, Girona approximately 40 minutes and Barcelona is a day trip but you can catch the train from Figueres if you prefer.
An information pack will be found in the apartment of other things to do during your stay from visiting the large water park, go-karting, horse-riding, cycling, boating, scuba-diving and many more.
