We are located 10 minutes from the traditional Spanish villages of Montroy and Montserrat, and 30 minutes from the cosmopolitan city of Valencia. The villa nestles in a very quiet rural area of fruit groves, including oranges, peaches, grapefruits, almonds, grapes and olives. It has uninterrupted spectacular mountain views, and is an ideal location for a peaceful 'get away from it all' holiday and yet is only 40 minutes from the city of Valencia, with all its history and nightlife.
The large spacious villa consists of 3 double bedrooms, the largest one having an en-suite bathroom with large walk in shower, all bedrooms have built in wardrobes. There is a separate smaller bathroom with shower. The large open plan lounge has a log burning fire, the dining area is spacious with dining table and chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the electrical appliances, and all the dishes, pan, crockery and cutlery that you may need.
The villa is set in its own private garden with the large 8 x 4 pool lying to the side of the villa. From the villa, pool or terraces you have an uninterrupted view of the mountains. There are numerous shaded areas to the side and rear of the property plus a large covered patio at the front, with patio tables, chairs and barbecue, there are sun loungers around the tiled area of the pool and an outside shower. Please be aware that the pool area is not gated.
The local villages of Montroy and Montserrat are both traditional Spanish villages where you can sample the local way of life, take part in the many fiestas and festivals, and sample the local wine and foods. There are two large supermarkets and numerous restaurants and bars. The larger towns of Torrent and Picassent are within a 20 minute drive, both offer the metro connection to Valencia, or you can catch the local buses from the villages. There are horse riding stables 5 minutes from the villa.
Valencia, the city of culture, has such a lot to see and do, there is something for everyone, exploring the old town, shopping, visiting the impressive City of Arts and Science, where you will find the science museum, planetarium and the L'oceangraphic, Europe's largest aquarium, or have a relaxing day on the golden sandy beach at La Malverossa, a few minutes from the city, where you can stroll along the promenade, and stop at one of the many restaurants and bars overlooking the Mediterranean.
To the south of Valencia there are many blue flag beaches, and the national park of Albufera, a fresh water lagoon connecting to the sea. Further down the coast is the beautiful beaches of Cullera, and then heading further south on the A7 are the coastal towns of Gandia and Denia, and not forgetting the lively resort of Benidorm, 90 minutes away.
The villa is ideally situated for the Ricardo Tormo Circuit which is 10 kilometers from us, the Formula 1 European Grand Prix held in the city streets in Valencia, La Tomatina, the tomato throwing festival at Bunol and several famous golf courses including El Saler and El Bosque.
