Casa Miranda is an Architect designed house with a spaceous open plan and contemporary design in choise of soloutions, materials and interior. Several outdoor areas devided in two levels compliments you with your choice of shade or sun, tranquility or activity. The property is situated above the sea, just 20 minutes drive to Almunecar with shops, bars, restaurantes and beaches, with stunning mountain, valley and seaviews. Here you have the authentic Spain with small white villages and olivegroves tropic fruit trees all around! This is truely the perfect private retreat for you and your family/friends!
The house consists of two house volumes joined together by an enclosed patio/livingroom area.
The entrance house is an open plan with a big kitchen/diningroom/livingroom area. The kitchen has all modern appliences (large gas stove, 2 fridge/freeze)- perfect for thoose who loves to cook, a bar area and diningtable seating up to 12 people plus a large sofa for watching tv. There is also a little bathroom and a storageroom at the entrance. The livingroom, with fireplace and panoramic views over the valley and the mountains, is spacious with various seating areas and large open space perfect for children to play.
Satelite tv with international channels, dvd player and movies, cd-player, Sonos music system with internet radio and on-demande music services. Free access to internet.
The bedroom house consists of 3 bedrooms - 2 with double bed and 1 with 2 single beds - and a large bathroom with 2 showers, double wash basin, washing mashine.
The two larger bedrooms have direct access to the terrace facing fantastic mountain and sea views and one of the bedrooms has in addition a secluded, peaceful terrace.
As a part of the house there is also a small Casita/guesthouse (30m2) with livingarea and one bedroom. The main room consists of a small kichen and livingroom with sofabed (doublebed 160) and a fireplace. The bedroom has 2 singlebeds. Bathroom with shower. Private terrace.
The entrance level outdoor space contains a large shaded diningarea with a fantastic woodburning pizza oven, BBQ, a large open terrace with various seatingareas and sun from sunrise to sunset, a 6x4mt infinitypool, a long shaded terrasse facing the lower terrace with spectacular views, a secluded and peacful terrace for one of the bedrooms.
The lower terrace (200m2) is a large open space with a designated area with a trampoline for the younger ones. This terrace is perfect for trim or yoga in the morning when it is nicely shaded by the house.

Casa Miranda is our "dream come true". We fell in love with the area 10 years ago and found our dream place to build 6 years ago. The main structure of the house was ready two years ago. We have lived here for one year and have loved every minute of it. We have now moved to Almunecar to be closer to school and activities for our children. We spend time here as often as possible - it is truely a paradise for grown ups and children!
We have put a lot of love and care into theese walls while building and we constantly keep improving the house and the surrounding garden. Every now and then a new detail is in place and a new tree is planted.
We want others to have the chanse to experience the tranquility and atmosphere here at Casa Miranda and therefore have decided to rent the house out for holiday guests. We aim to give you the best holiday experience possible. We have all our personal treasures in the house and assure you that our home will give you a personal feeling.
We know how it is to travel far and arrive hungry and tired. When you arrive all beds are made and you are welcomed with complimentary food and beverages. We make sure that there is some food in the refrigerator for breakfast the day after. In other words - you can relax from the moment you arrive!
