Inside...
The villa is built around a central patio, sleeping 8 in beds plus 2 on a double day bed, with space for cots and an additional sofa bed on request:
* Bedrooms 1 & 2 on first floor of main house with family bathrooms and shower room
* Bedroom 3 downstairs off patio with own shower room
* Bedroom 4 & 5 are an interconnecting family apartment with a master bedroom and adjoining living area with sofa bed.
* Teenagers "Den" with sofa bed is also available for additional sleeping space for older children
It has a typical Andalucian style around a central patio, so two families can share this property and each have their own private areas for sleeping and relaxing. The spacious living room looks out into the private garden which has an outdoor kitchen and secure gated swimming pool.
The property has the feel of a Moroccan Riad with a modern twist; a cool interior patio leads upstairs to the hallway with a sky light illuminating the house, and the decor is a mixture of northern European designer chic with antique touches from Asia. Designer pieces such as Philip Stark, Le Corbusier and Patricia Urquiola help this villa to stand out.
The house is built over two floors and in two distinct parts; The main house has 2 bedrooms upstairs and a separate suite downstairs off the patio, all with their own bathrooms. The adjoining apartment is in the style of a family suite with a chic studio-style living space.
Three of the bedrooms can be configured with twin beds or as a super-king sized bed to suit your party.
Downstairs is a multimedia den/reading room/workout room whcih brings this historical property firmly into the 21st century. There is a a state of the art entertainment center containing hundreds of movies and songs for guests to enjoy. These can also be streamed into the sitting room and full instructions are given. The den also has a double sofa bed which can accommodate an additional older child or teenager.
There is also a Wii, Wii-fit balance board, games, books & a DVD library, as well as a selection of toys, games, beach equipment and baby equipment.
Children will find a play corner full of goodies sure to keep them entertained, and a Stokke's Tripp Trapp high chair for safety.
In the kitchen you will find cool Silestone worktops, Le Creuset cookware and mod-cons including a top of the range multi-functional oven and Kenwood chef, professional coffee machine & mill.
If you prefer someone else to take care of the cooking we can arrange a local private chef for a typical Spanish menu, BBQ or tapas.
The house has under-floor cooling and heating systems as well as ventilation fans free of charge.
Outside...
The garden is fully enclosed and has a fenced swimming pool making this villa perfect for families with small children. There is a sand pit and a small patio next to the house for children to enjoy the ride-on toys that are provided.
The pool has a chemical-free system which is kind on the skin, and a pool cover helps to keep the water warmer, although usage would realistically be limited to May through to the end of September.
The outdoor kitchen has a gas BBQ and makes a fabulous setting for evening meals, with the beautifully lit church just above the house. The new roof terrace also offers the most spectacular views of the area and is perfect for a relaxing evening cocktail.
At this villa in Medina Sidonia you are within easy walking distance of restaurants, tapas bars and cafes dotted around the narrow cobbled streets. You can visit the ancient village squares in one of the most beautiful towns of southern Spain. A private guided tapas tour of the village can be arranged for you to get to know the village
Beach lovers will also be spoilt for choice, for you are just half an hour from the Cadiz coastline of fine white sand and turquoise blue shores.
