Sedella is an authentic white village situated in the heart of the Sierra Tejeda mountain range with it´s peak , la Maroma , towering to over 2000 metres , providing a dramatic backdrop surrounded by natural park . Here you will experience village life seemingly untouched by time where life continues just as it has for many decades . You will see mules working the land and goats grazing in the beautiful countryside !
However , there is no shortage of modern amenities ,including two shops for your basic needs and four bars / restuarants with a tapas bar in the plaza , there is also free wifi available in one of the local bars .
Sedella has it´s own swimming pool which is open in the summer months.
We also have a visitors centre ans a tourist information office in the village
There is an outside activity company in Competa , a nearby village ,where you can organise trips such as hiking , horseriding , potholing , kayaking , and trips into the National Park .
Casa Mula ( the mule house ) was quite literally home for a mule , and a few goats ! The property was renovated using traditional building methods and materials. Exposed timbers , terracotta flooring and many other traditional features retain all the feel and charm of "real Spain"

On entering the house you will find a kitchen / dining area , there is also a small seating area outside the house to enjoy a coffee and watch the village life go by .
On the first floor there is a comfortable lounge area with a log burner for the winter months . There is a TV with a DVD and a good selection of films as well as a library of books and plenty of local information / things to do etc
On the second floor is the bedroom with en suite , all towels (including beach towels )bath robes and bed linen are provided
Stairs lead to the roof terrace where there are loungers parasol , table & chairs , BBQ , all for you to enjoy an al fresco lunch or simply to admire the stunning views over the village towards the mountains.
We provide all guests with a welcome pack including a bottle of wine .
