Can Ricard is located in Can Isaac, a peaceful area of large detached villas amongst olive groves in the foothills of the Pyrenees, within easy walk of the beautiful old village of Palau Saverdera with local shops and restaurants, and just minutes from the sea. It is next door to Casa Colina (ref 8654).
The bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen and living room are on the same level. Outside the living room, steps lead down to the pool area and sunbathing terraces. Living room and bedroom 1 have air con and views south to the sea. Two of the bedrooms have double beds, the third has bunk beds and there is a small sofa bed in the lounge. Two additional single beds are available and can be placed in the bedrooms (there is space for an additional bed in bedroom 2 or bedroom 3) or lounge. The villa sleeps 6 comfortably and can accommodate up to 8 people.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped with all necessary appliances and utensils, including induction hob, electric oven, separate combination microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer.
Living room is a large , air conditioned room with 2 sofas and a 120cm sofa bed, dining table and chairs, large flat screen TV, UK Freeview satellite receiver, DVD, music system, wi-fi broadband access, fireplace. Windows face South overlooking pool and with views to the sea. From a small terrace outside the living room steps lead down to the pool. A utility room next to pool has a washing machine and extra fridge and freezer space.

Pool is 8m x 4m with depth ranging from 1.25m to 1.6m. Tiled steps lead in at the shallow end. Wide terraces around the pool with plenty of space for sunbathing or dining. Sunbeds, tables and chairs and umbrellas provided. Outside shower.
Gas barbecue and large brick built charcoal barbecue.

Gardens surround the house and are planted with mature Mediterranean shrubs and trees.
To the front there is parking off the road for one or two cars.

The nearby village of Palau Saverdera is a traditional Catalan village with its own wine cooperative, a small supermarket, butchers, bakers, newsagents and a good selection of restaurants all within a short walk from the villa. A more comprehensive selection of shops including large supermarkets, produce markets and a huge choice of bars, restaurants and nightclubs are just 10 minutes drive away in nearest beach is less than 10 minutes drive away at Santa Margarita. A wide choice of other beaches within 20 minutes. A short drive takes you to the spectacular scenery to the North of the Bay of Roses, where wooded cliff walks lead to isolated coves (including the one where the world famous El Bulli restaurant is situated), or to any part of the long sandy beach which curves around the bay from Roses to L'Escala. Nearby attractions include the Dali towns of Cadaques and Figueres, the Aiguamolls Nature Reserve, Aqua Brava water park, Empuriabrava Marina and skydiving centre, and Peralada Golf Course.

Golf: The nearest course is at Perelada (18 holes, par 71, 5990m) which is 10 miles or 20 mins drive.
Other major courses include:
Torremirona, 20 miles or 40 mins. Playa de Pals, PGA Golf de Catalunya, Emporda, all within 1 hour approx.

Bedroom 1 has 150 cm bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan, TV with UK Freeview channels, window overlooking pool and views South to the sea, curtains and blackout blinds, bedside reading lights. Private shower room with large walk-in shower, wc and basin.
Bedroom 2 has 140 cm bed, ceiling fan, window to the North with views of the hills, wardrobe, curtains and blackout blinds, bedside reading lights.
Bedroom 3 has 2 x 90 cm x 190 cm bunk beds, ceiling fan, washbasin, window facing East, wardrobe, curtains and blackout blinds.

There are 2 additional single beds, which can be put in bedroom 2 or bedroom 3 (space for one extra bed in each room)

All bedrooms are near each other on the same floor.
Bathroom 1 has large corner bath with shower, wc and washbasin.
Bathroom 2 is en-suite to bedroom 1, has large walk-in shower, wc and washbasin.
