Situated at Oliva Nova you will enjoy the complex and its safe surrounds. Nearby are the Golf and Tennis facilities. Just a few hundred metres away are the dunes and beaches. Oliva has 7km of them Great Kite Surfing areas !!
Oliva lies midway between Alicante and Valencia airports just a hop off the motorway.
Within walking distance is the local shopping centre with a bank, bar, supermarket and other outlets- the 18 hole Golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros, driving range and club house/ restaurant. A little further is the Golf Hotel with its restaurants, swimming pools and health spa clomplete with saunas and gym. Tennis courts are available too. One of the many beautiful beaches is metres away from the hotel.
South of Oliva Nova lies Denia with its castle, port and marina with shops, bars and restaurants to tempt all. Or visit Altea to discover its quaint shops.
Further south on the motorway beyond La Marina Shopping centre (10 minutes) lies the almost Manhattan skyline of Benidorm (40 minutes) Find theme and water parks Terra Mitica, Aqualandia,Mundomar and TerraNatura plus shopping, beaches and nightlife.
North of Oliva Nova is Oliva itself. Vist the old town whose narrow streets wind ever upwards discover beautiful churches, museums and a Roman Kiln. Running through the heart of Oliva is a tree-lined walkway ´the Paseo´. On Fridays mingle with the bustle of the crowds at the weekly market
Oliva Playa (beach) is a short drive away where you can enjoy unspoilt beaches and dunes. Sports activities include canoeing, sailing and kitesurfing. During summer there are beach bars (chiringuitos) between here and Oliva Nova. Stroll along the beach and enjoy their individual style and music.
Other sports found nearby are horse riding, karting and paragliding.
Close to Oliva Nova are the natural wetlands (marjal). A little inland from Pego in the Vall d´Ebo are fascinating caves with stalagtite and stalagmite formations.
To the north of Oliva is the historic town of Gandia and less than an hour beyond by car or train lies Valencia the thriving commercial capital where history meets modern and ultra modern. Take a trip on the tourist bus for a glimpse before you explore the old city architecture, its Cathedral and churches, the silk hall and central market and its 15th century city wall gateways. Amble along the gardens in the old Turia riverbed and then marvel at the amazing structures at the city of science and arts.
The oceanografic complex and bioparc are a must too.
