The air-conditioned apartment sleeps a maximum of 4 people (including children) and is located on the 3rd floor of a modern apartment complex in the quiet residential area of Los Pacos with the beaches and amenities of Fuengirola and Los Boliches about 10-15 minutes walk away (or 5 minutes using the local bus service). The village (Los Pacos), with all local amenities available, is about 5 minutes walk away.
The apartment comprises of one main bedroom (double bed) with en-suite bathroom, a secondary bedroom (two single beds), a shower/WC room and a spacious lounge/kitchen area. The balcony/terrace area provides great sea views and views of Fuengirola itself (see photos). Air conditioning is installed in the main bedroom and the lounge/kitchen area with a large stand-up fan in the secondary bedroom. There is a communal swimming pool and a mature garden area. The swimming pool is closed from October to April. All linen and towels, etc, are provided.
The apartment is fully furnished and equipped as follows:
MAIN BEDROOM: air conditioning, double bed, 3-door mirrored wardrobe, 2 bedside cabinets with lamps, en-suite bathroom.
SECONDARY BEDROOM: two single beds, one bedside cabinet with lamp, stand-up fan, built-in double wardrobe, chest of drawers.
BATHROOMS: Both bathrooms have showers and the main (en-suite) bathroom has a bath and a bidet.
KITCHEN: Air-conditioned; the kitchen is fully equipped with fridge-freezer, washing machine, electric cooker and hob, microwave, toaster, kettle, etc. Dining table (4 persons)
LOUNGE: Air-conditioned; large settee and two armchairs, TV (for playing DVDs and videos only), DVD player and radio/CD player.
HALLWAY: Hallway area with double doors leading into lounge/kitchen area.
LOCAL AMENITIES: There is a supermarket on the ground floor of the apartment block (so about 2 minutes walk from the apartment). On the short walk into the village of Los Pacos there are a couple of bars, a "corner shop", newsagent, car hire company and a bank (with ATM). In the village itself, there are several bars, restaurants and take-aways, a lovely patisserie/bakery, a newsagent, chemist, butcher, greengrocer, hairdresser and internet café.
Opposite the apartment there are brand new tennis courts and two safe secluded play parks for young children. In the Fuengirola area there are great beaches, water sports facilities, aqua park, horse riding, zoo, boules, golf courses and an English cinema.
Just a short drive or bus/taxi journey away there is the Tivoli World fun park, a cable car ride, and Sea Life Benalmadena. The cities of Malaga, Seville, Granada, Cordoba, Ronda, Gibraltar and Tangiers are all easily visited by bus, organised coach trips or by car. For the shoppers there is a large new shopping mall with internationally known shops. Los Boliches and Fuengirola have plenty of locally owned shops of a high standard.
There are literally hundreds of bars and restaurants in Fuengirola and Los Boliches and the famous Fish Alley (Calle Moncayo) in Fuengirola is always a great dining experience. Or you could take the bus to the internationally famous town of Marbella/Puerto Banus and people-watch or shop in the many designer shops.
The apartment is about 20 minutes drive from Malaga Airport and the cost of a taxi is approx. 40 euros. There is a local rail service ("Cercanias") every 30 minutes between the airport and Fuengirola (the nearest station to the apartment is Los Boliches - about 10/15 minutes walk away). Or you can take the train to Fuengirola and get a taxi from the station to the apartment (cost approx. 10 euros). RAIL TIMES AND FARES CAN VARY (ESPECIALLY AT WEEKENDS & BANK HOLIDAYS) SO PLEASE CHECK IN ADVANCE
White towels are to be used only in the apartment. Coloured towels are supplied for beach/pool use. PLEASE NOTE THE POOL IS CLOSED FROM OCTOBER TO APRIL.
The apartment will be ready from 2pm (1400 hrs) on day of arrival. Visitors are requested to vacate the apartment by 10am (1000 hrs) on day of departure.
A non-refundable deposit of 30% is payable to secure the reservation of the apartment and the balance has to be paid in full 5 weeks prior to arrival.
A security deposit of £100 is requested with payment which will be returned by post or bank transfer after the apartment has been checked to make sure everything is in order and following the return of the keys.
