Clean, well appointed tourist apartment on a well maintained complex, perfect for holidays at any time of the year.
The apartments are configured in 2 storey blocks of 8 surrounding a large communal pool with safe childrens section, terraces and showers. The pool is set in beautiful landscaped gardens with seating areas. Each apartment has its own designated parking space (23).
The Lounge/diner has a comfortable double bed seatee, wicker lounge chair, coffee table, TV cabinet with storage, TV (we have a sky box with all UK freeview channels including ITV/BBC etc, however please be advised it is not always possible to get a signal), DVD player, dining table and 4 chairs. Access to the balcony, which is fully equipped with 2 reclining chairs, 2 additional chairs, table, parasol and clothes airer. South facing it gets the sun all day and has stunning views of the mountains. The sea and Benidorm can also be seen in the distance.
The kitchen is fully equipped for 4 people and has an oven & hob, fridge with small freezer, washing machine, microwave cooker, toaster, electric kettle and the gas hot water heater.
The bedroom has 2 comfortable single beds, ideal if holidaying with friends, bedside tables with lamps, fitted wardrobe with hangers, a set of drawers and a full length mirror. There is also access to a balconet.
The large bathroom has a powerful shower over the bath. There is a wash basin, mirror with light over, shaving point, toilet and linen basket.
The apartment has air conditioning to the lounge and bedroom with a heat bomb for the cooler months. Duvets are also provided in winter.
Other facilities include an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, large cool box, adult folding bicyle and helmet and an assortment of CD's, DVD's and books. An information file is provided with details of local attractions, emergency numbers etc.
Bed linen and towels are provided,however,guests are required to bring their own beach towels. Cleaning at the end of the holiday is included in the rental price.
There is 1 restaurant, 2 bars, 2 supermarket's and a petrol station within metres of the apartment. There is also a public phone and cash machine in the vacinity. Altea centre is 3kms away with its lovely old town and church. Altea also has an extensive sea front promanade with bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. There is a very good shopping area and a large town square, where it is interesting to sit and watch the locals whilst having a drink. A traditional market is also held every Tuesday in the new town.
For golf lovers the Don Cayo golf club is approx 8kms away. This challenging 9 hole course has stunning views and a growing reputation for excellent cuisine which we can highly recommend.
The apartment is the perfect base to explore the Costa Blanca having good motorway and road connections or for those who prefer the peace and quiet a great place to relax and unwind. Car hire is recommended. There is no bus service between the apartment and Altea, however, taxi's are available locally. To explore further afield without a car there is a train service from Denia to Alicante accessible from Altea or alternatively get the bus from Altea into Benidorm for access to other bus services.
Travel time from Alicante airport to the apartment is approximately 50 minutes by car.
