Magaluf

Magaluf and the neighbouring resort of Palma Nova are situated in the Calvia district on the Balearic island of Mallorca. Situated to the south west of the island, around 15 kilometres from Palma and the Son Sant Joan Airport.

Magaluf at the height of the season is definitely not for the faint hearted, but if you are looking for an action-packed, non-stop party resort, then you will have the holiday of your lifetime. 

Out of season, it’s a little tamer and does attract a more diverse holidaymaker – families, young couples and retirees. It’s also really popular with stag and hen party holidays.


Magaluf Resort
Magaluf is a purpose built resort made up of apartment blocks, hotels and the leisure zone, where you find the main concentration of bars, nightclubs and restaurants.

There are general amenities available such as supermarkets, souvenir shops, etc. The nearest market is in Andratx and for the best shopping facilities then head to the capital Palma, which has excellent shopping options.

There are a good selection of leisure pursuits such as golf, crazy golf, tennis and go-karting.  


Beaches
Magaluf beach consists of a strip of fine, white sand, gently shelving down to the calm seas of this coastline. There are water sports facilities, showers and restaurants, plus lots of other leisure pursuits for all the family, including glass bottom boat trips, snorkelling, kite surfing and more. 

A rocky headline divides Magaluf beach from Palma Nova beach, which is generally less crowded in the high season.  


Nightlife
When the sun goes down Magaluf comes to life and doesn’t stop until the sun starts to rise again. Bars, clubs, boat parties; crazy nights are in store for holidaymakers. 

Eating out
McDonalds, fish and chips, KFC, Pizza Express, dining out in Magaluf is like a home from home. There are of course more traditional options, but fast food is high on the agenda for those wanting to eat and then party. 
 
Climate
The mild climate offers an average temperature of 30ºC in summer and 14ºC in winter. Around 300 sunny days a year light up Magaluf and the sunny coastline of Calvia.
