Casa Paradise: an ideal location for the discerning holidaymaker who is looking for the perfect hideaway to escape, and enjoy peace and solitude (if required!) on the beautiful Costa Tropical. We have WI-FI.Yet the atmospheric towns of Almunecar and Salobrena are only five minutes away. The beautiful east terrace and the dining room offer you the chance to enjoy wonderful views over the Mediterranean: of Almunecar to the west and, to the east, the ´white city of Salobrena with its backdrop of an alluvial plain containing an abundance of tropical fruits, vegetables and sugar cane. It is an ideal centre from which to explore the cultural history of Spain, being only half an hour from the historic city of Granada (and the Alhambra) and the skiing facilities in the Sierra Nevada National Park. Even closer are the Alpujarras, a peaceful haven and the last bastion of the Moors. If you want to get away from the peace and quiet you can go over to effervescent Almunecar, with its myriad of winding streets and tapas bars. Alternatively you can go to the Moorish town of Salobrena rising majestically above the sugarcane plantations, with its illuminated castle. Both towns have excellent supermarkets and shopping facilities.

The area has a wonderful climate with average temperatures of around 18 degrees C in winter and 28 degrees C in summer. Exotic fruits like avocados, mangos, chirimoyas, kiwis, papaya, sugar cane, grapes, olives, oranges, lemons, cumquat and bananas grow well here. There are lots of leisure opportunities in the area. If you enjoy walking there is a beautiful rustic beach below the residential complex where the house is situated. The spectacular walk down takes around ten minutes: the steep walk back up takes longer! There are also various walking trails into the hills above and around the shoreline below. There are three golf courses in the area, including the 18 hole Camp De Golf at Salobrena. Green fees there are 40 Euros. Day trips around the coast can be arranged through the Marina Del Este with the opportunity for snorkeling and getting close to dolphins. There are scuba diving centres in Almunecar, La Herradura and Nerja.

Casa Paradise has two bedrooms, a good sized bathroom, fully fitted kitchen, attractive rustic living room and a dining room with a 180 degree sea view. There is satellite TV and DVD player. DVDs can be rented nearby in Almunecar. The kitchen has an electronic hob, large fridge-freezer, microwave, utensils. The kitchen opens out to a beautiful terrace with spectacular views of Salobrena and the alluvial plain. There are in all three terraces, each with great views. There is a community swimming pool two minutes away, open in July and August. There is parking on the property. We have Wi-fi access.
