Ranch Navazo was one of the largest farms in the area. The farm house/buildings and surrounding land were purchased in 2005 and converted for holiday rentals, there are now various animals a rescued donkey and some sheep as grass cutters, dogs and doves etc. It is fully realised that not everyone likes animals so they are kept in a separate area away from the visitors: A licence for a petting farm has been applied for, for visitors who like to be involved, but this licence may take sometime! Many children have enjoyed feeding the sheep and save their veg and fruit peelings for them.

We absolutely loved our stay in Sonia & John’s villa it was very peaceful, clean & relaxing, John went above & beyond to help us when our car had a few issues & he got us booked into to there local garage which we really appreciated. The boys enjoyed feeding the donkeys even giving them names of there own. We had a brilliant time & would highly recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday.
Hello Ross and Kelly. It was lovely to meet you and chat, thank you for the carrots and apples you left for the donkeys. Thank you for your review and glad we could help you. See you again kindest regards John and Sonia
We stayed in Casa Dali for a week in August. The Casa is beautiful and the pool is fantastic. We enjoyed having the place to ourselves and speaking to the neighbouring holiday makers at Casa Picasso. The donkeys kept us entertained & came up for breakfast & afternoon snacks (carrots & fruit) every day. The views are spectacular and watching the changing light throughout the day is pretty special. Pruna is a beautiful traditional Spanish town & we would recommend the Ceverzerjia on the way out of town for great tapas. Olvera is also lovely & the Mercadona is worth a visit to stock up on essentials. My husband & I enjoyed the peace & quiet but our daughters found it a bit remote although they did love the pool. Sonia & John were great hosts. We hope to return in the future.
We had a lovely time in Pruna! Nice, clean and spacious holiday home. Lovely private pool with amazing view. Very quiet location. In Olvera (10 m drive) you have supermarkets for everything you need. We visited Malaga (1h30m drive), Sevilla (1h 15m), Ronda (1h), the white villages. We hiked in El Torcal (1h 30m drive), we rented bikes in Olvera(10m drive) to do the Via Verde and we went to the beautiful lakes of Zahara and El Chorro. Unfortunately our youngest was to small to do the beautiful Caminito Del Rey, so we will have to come back. So a lot of things to see and do, our children (13 ,11 and 7) loved it too! We recommend Andalousia very muched. Thank you Sonia for your hospitality!
HI VEERLE, BART, DAAN, NORA AND HANNE, LET ME THANK YOU FOR LEAVING CASA DALI LOVELY, TIDY AND CLEAN. YOUR CHILDREN ARE SO VERY POLITE, AND QUIET, LOVELY CHILDREN. GLAD YOU HAD A GREAT TIME, YOU ARE ALL VERY VERY WELCOME TO STAY WITH US AGAIN THANK FOR ALL YOUR KIND WORDS... YES, ITS A FABULOUS PLACE FOR SIGHT-SEEING OR RELAXING WITH A BOOK BY THE POOL.
Having faced a chaotic time at Malaga Airport car hire desk we eventually arrived at the villa where despite the late hour Sonia and John gave us a warm welcome and a well appreciated welcome pack of snacks a bottle of plonk and food for breakfast. The villa was fabulous, spacious, clean and perfectly sited for a quite relaxing centre for exploring the many amazing historical sites in area. Sonia and John were very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for local shops and site seeing attractions. We had a great two weeks at the villa and would strongly recommend it, Sonia's and John's hospitality made it all the better. Sat by the pool with the barbecue cooking local food in the evening surrounded by amazing views watching the vultures catch the thermals of the mountains was a memory that will last a life time. Oh! and the donkeys were very entertaining.
