The Costa del Azahar (Orange Blossom Coast) stretches from the southern tip of Catalunya down to Gandia at the top of the Costa Blanca. It is named after the huge areas of orange groves whose blossom in springtime can perfume the entire coast.

A fantastic property with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Secure parking provided. Peniscola has a great beach and a wide range of restaurants ( 10 to 15 minutes walk ).

This house is lovely and provides everything you need for a family holiday. The view is gorgeous - especially from the terrace where we spent most of our time. The shared pool is lovely and we often had it to ourselves despite it being high season. The only small issue for us was the walk to town - the road is dangerous and so it is better to walk the longer way round which involves quite a climb. This would be fine, but during the day when it was super-hot it was a little difficult. The beaches in Peniscola are beautiful and very clean.

Sorry that you found the walk to town difficult in the heat, we are rarely there in July and August so we don't experience it so much. There is an air-conditioned bus that runs along the coast every hour, I hope you found details of that in our info pack, perhaps we should put the timetable up on the exit door so it can't be missed. Really enjoyed our holiday in Peñíscola. Great flat with large terrace and garden. Sea views and everything you need for beach,chairs, parasols, mats,towels, toys and tent for children. Bikes with locks and helmets. Walkable into town with sandy beaches or into the national park with pebbly beaches if reasonably fit. Pool. plancha grill, bbq. Lovely town great restaurants. Nice people.

Property was exactly as descibed very well equipped and lovely and clean good position away from the hustle and bustle of Pensacola great terrace with good sea views
