We spent a month at this villa and had a lovely time. The house itself was comfortable and well provisioned. The village of Playa del Cura, with its beach and Spar shop, was a pleasant walk away along a rough track. Whenever we had questions, Sue was constantly on hand to answer them. Most days we went running, cycling and/or swimming. Playa del Cura itself was rarely our destination and we were able, mainly through long bike rides from the villa, to explore the heart of the island. This was beautiful and many of the roads were pleasingly smooth. We also enjoyed dolphin watching and the crocodile park.
Thank you for your lovely review of your holiday in the villa. I am so pleased that you enjoyed the facilities, peace and quiet and exploring this beautiful island. I was so impressed at your stamina at cycling to Roque Nublo and the areas near to it! Congratulations! I am looking forward to visiting the crocodile park with my grandchildren after your excellent description of how enjoyable it was, thank you. I hope that you will return again soon. With very best wishes Sue
We have just returned from our 7th visit to this wonderful villa. That in itself says so much about the whole experience staying in this tranquil setting. Yes, this is truly tranquil and peaceful but with the benefit of having so many places available either by car, bus, taxi or even just a walk away. Firstly the villa is immaculate in all aspects - cleanliness - modern - roomy with a number of terraces to relax with your glass of wine and a book. Sue, who owns the villa is the perfect host and will be professional all the way through the booking process - right the way up to providing a meet and greet when you arrive - and a welcome pack that is full of lots of goodies to get you started ( or even last a fair bit into your stay ) We have stayed predominantly in March & November and the weather has always been good with sunny days around 25-27 degrees and the evenings tend to cool down to around 20 degrees - we sit out till midnight looking for shooting stars and finishing off that wine ( Sue probably left a bottle in the welcome pack ) There are more places to eat than your waistline can manage and all very good value. Some fantastic fish restaurants in Mogan and take a trip to Amadores beach after dark when all the bistro eateries open up at the back of the beach. There is one slight downfall and that is eventually you have to pack up and go home but after a few days at Villa Vista Del Cura in November your batteries are fully charged and you'll be ready to face Brexit, Christmas and the good old English winter.
Dear Roderick and Sandra, Thank you for another fabulous review after your recent stay! I was so pleased to learn that you had even better temperatures this year. Wishing you a very Happy Christmas and many more sunny and blue sky days in Beautiful Gran Canaria next year,2020! Best Wishes Sue

This villa and its owner are exceptional. We had previously arranged to meet the owner, Sue on arrival near the local supermarket so that she could guide us up the little private road to the villa and show us round. As agreed, Sue was there to meet us; she was spontaneously friendly, very welcoming and highly professional. As we approached the villa, we were blown away by the villa itself and also its setting and the fabulous views beyond! The villa is spotlessly clean throughout and is decorated, furnished and maintained to the very highest standard. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need for your holiday and even a few things you didn't realise you needed! There was a very generous welcome pack provided which was most appreciated and much of which lasted us some time into our stay. The gorgeous, light-filled bedrooms are beautifully fresh and clean and with spectacular views of the mountains, sea and valley, amazing to wake up in each morning! There are two large terraces, each with a barbeque and table and chairs to dine out enjoying the views, again, all immaculately presented. The pool, with yet another terrace of its own, is consistently sparkling clean, heated to a comfortable temperature and maximises the stunning surroundings in complete privacy! The short walk down the valley from the villa to the local shops was really enjoyable in the mornings, lizard spotting along the way! We found a lot of interesting things to do in Gran Canaria, many of which were only a short drive from the villa. We visited the crocodile park, Cocodrilo - this was a really interesting and fun day out which our children (9 & 11) really enjoyed, there were a lot of animals to see and many of which you could see unusually close up. There is a nice cafe and a small gift shop there too. The water park, Aqualand is also a great family day out, we spent the whole day there - they do allow you to take your own food and drink which many don't so saves you wasting time queuing for lunch! We visited the local beach, Playa del Cura which was a small beach and very calm but we particularly loved the rougher sea at Maspalomas beach which was excellent for body boarding and the kids loved the big waves and the famous sand dunes there too! Gran Canaria Karting club was also a really fun trip, enjoyed by the whole family and worth a visit, we had the track all to ourselves the day we went. Sue advised us about a boat trip which takes you from nearby Puerto Rico to Puerto de Mogan which was a gorgeous, pretty little town with a small beach and many lovely shops and restaurants to choose from, it takes around half an hour on the ferry. We loved this place so much, we went there twice! It's difficult to put into words the feeling of total peace and tranquility this villa offers, yet you are only minutes away from all the facilities and entertainment you may desire! It's evident that Sue's main priority is to ensure that you have a fabulous holiday and we most certainly did! Thank you Sue for such a perfect holiday in your unique and perfect villa!! :):):) The Smiths

I stayed with my family and my partner in villa. Villa was beautiful, lovely views. The best master room. Pool very clean. We explored the whole island. Worth to take a drive. Villa located in quiet town but very close( 10min drive) to other more popular places, Puerto Rico or Puerto Mogan etc where you can get many trips like Submarine tour which was fun 😊 Nice restaurant on the main road close to the close. Owner Sue was super friendly. She lives in the villa too (small downstairs flat) but you won't see her much. We enjoyed our stay much. Thank you ☺️
Dear Angelina, Thank you for your lovely review of your stay in Gran Canaria. I am so pleased that you were able to visit some of the interior of the island and to enjoy the submarine tour! It was lovely to meet you and your family and to know that you enjoyed your holiday together and went home with wonderful suntans and happy memories! I look forward to seeing you again next summer, when you will be able to have your boat trip to Gui Gui beach! With kind Regards Sue Owner
