Great family golf trip to celebrate a big birthday. Chose this villa so we could be close to San Roque Club amenities, but didn't realise just how close we were! Literally a couple of minutes walk from pro shop, practice ground and first tee!10 minutes from the other great courses in the area such as Valderrama and La Reserva. Chris's recommendation to go down to Sotogrande Port for evening food and drink was perfect. But the villa was so nice we spent most of our non-golfing time relaxing in the pool and jacuzzi or firing up the BBQ. Villa was very well equipped and beds super-comfortable. Have told all my golfing friends to stay there!

We had a wonderful time at Casa Roble. We were 6 adults and 4 children so the set up at the villa was ideal for us. Kids (and grown ups!) loved the pool and despite best intentions often ended up lounging there for most of the day. The house was perfect for us. It is obviously well maintained and was spotlessly clean. I had my elderly parents with me, who while fully mobile found the ground floor bedroom / bathroom arrangement ideal and plenty of 'quiet' / cool spots for them when they wanted some time away from the fray. We ate out most of the time (we loved the port area at Sotogrande) but the kitchen / outside courtyard was perfect for breakfasts / grazing throughout the day and the conservatory was fabulous for a couple of big family evening meals we did while we were there. You can tell it is or has been a family home – really everything we needed was there. We were very happy to be completely independent but when we had a couple of questions we found it easy to make contact whenever we needed to.
